FIPA Ltd. has operated as an independent subsidiary of the global specialist for gripper, vacuum and lifting technology since 2013. In 2017, the company moved to much larger premises along the Chao Phraya River Rama 3 Road.
“This mainly allows us to stock a wider range of products and serve our customers even faster,” explains Tanachai Sriwongchai, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing. “Furthermore, it is much easier to get to our new location, since we are now on an industrial estate conveniently situated near the airport.”
Food and drink industry, packaging, plastics and automotive industry: Thailand’s economy is developing fast and the demand for high-quality machinery and highly specialized systems is increasing, particularly in mechanical engineering. FIPA is addressing the resulting market opportunities for the product range by establishing a stronger local presence. “By increasing the size of our premises and with the help of our five-strong team, led by Tanachai Sriwongchai, we are able to serve the Thai market quickly, directly and efficiently,” says Rainer Mehrer, CEO of FIPA. “This means that we are perfectly positioned for the future, which is exactly what our customers expect from us.”
Our staff has considerable experience in vacuum technology and End-of-Arm-Tooling (EOAT) and are able to offer specialist consultancy services when planning and designing complex automation systems and gripper assembly projects. In addition to warehouse and office space, the new site also has a workshop where presentations can take place. “We are currently working on the optimization of all work processes at the new location,” says Tanachai Sriwongchai.
